Christmas Movies To Watch

I thought with Christmas coming in a couple days I would sit down and make one of those beloved lists of Christmas movies to watch.  Everyone loves Christmas movies and everyone has their favorites.  I’m sure everyone has seen these at one time but if not they are definitely worth checking out.

It's A Wonderful Life

1.  It’s A Wonderful Life.  This is my all time favorite movie and a tradition to watch every Christmas.  I’m not ashamed to say I cry every time I watch it.  It’s a wonderful story about how one man touched more lives than what he thought and despite being in a bad situation the love of his family and friends help him through in the end.

2.  Elf with Will Ferrell and James Caan

3.  The Polar Express with Tom Hanks

4.  The Muppet Christmas Carol with Michael Cain and Kermit the Frog

5.  Gremlins.  You may have forgotten but this was set at Christmas in the movie

6.  The Santa Clause with Tim Allen

7.  Bad Santa with Billy Bob Thorton

8.  Die Hard with Bruce Willis.  Another action movie that was set in the backdrop of Christmas

9.  The Nightmare Before Christmas by Tim Burton.

10.  A Christmas Carol both the 1954 version and the 2009 Jim Carey version.  And for my wife Patrick Stewarts version as well.

11.  National Lampoons Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase

12.  Home Alone with Macaulay Culkin

13.  Scrooged with Bill Murray

14.  Miracle on 34th Street both the 1947 and 1994 versions

15.  A Christmas Story.  The story of a boy’s quest to get a Red Ryder BB gun.

16.  A Charlie Brown Christmas
