Mustache Ride Anyone?

Save The Girls

As many of you know October was breast cancer awareness month.  That time of the year when everyone wears pink and some sort of t-shirt with a logo about saving the girls or tatas or breasts or has a pink ribbon.  It’s to raise awareness and money for breast cancer.  What some people don’t know is breast cancer is not a female only thing.  Men can get breast cancer too and it can be just as fatal if not caught in time.  Breast cancer awareness month is such a wonderful month, I mean look at all the attention the woman’s breast gets, that we can give them and not get slapped for doing so.  There should be a Breast Appreciation Month too in my opinion but that’s getting off topic.

Save a life

November however is commonly referred to as Movember.  This is the month when men are encouraged to grow a moustache for the 30-days of November.  You start clean-shaven, then grow and groom you Mo (slang for moustache), asking friends and family to donate to your efforts.  This helps to bring awareness to men’s health issues.

Movember is not just for men though Mo Sistas are an important too because they help raise funds and encourage the men in their lives to get involved.  Essentially, Mo Sistas do everything that Mo Bros do, without a Mo.   At the end of the month, Mo Bros and Mo Sistas celebrate their Movember journey by throwing their own Movember events.  The funds raised support men’s health programs that combat prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges.  These programs are focused on awareness and education, living with and beyond cancer.

So whether its October or November, dudes and dudetts, support one another in this fight against cancer.  We love your boobs and I know you love our testicles so help us keep them both for as long as we can.  Happy Movember everyone.
