2012: Looking Back

I have to say, looking back at this year and trying to remember what we did, I realized this year sucked.  We didn’t really do anything.  Not because we didn’t want to mind you, but just because we couldn’t.  Anyway, here’s a look back at my year, the good and the not-so-good.

Well pretty much every holiday was celebrated at home to include birthdays.  We did go to Mid-evil Madness on our 3rd year anniversary which was awesome and wee went to Bolling AFB and watch the fireworks over the National Mall during the 4th of July though.  I had a year long battle with child support enforcement to which I got a few small things I wanted but the big things that were important I lost so I am continuing to be screwed over that.  I started a personal journal for the 8th time in my life and for the 1st time I have actually stuck with it all year where as in the past it never lasted a month and I’m still writing in my journal almost daily.  I’m actually on my 2nd Journal.  I filled the first one up.  Go Me!!!  I started blogging and have been somewhat successful at that as well.  I have met a lot of great friends on-line through my blogging too.  I published a short story and I started writing book 1 of a series of novels.

I was able to stop the zombie apocalypse from starting by killing patient zero before he infected anyone else.  Me and G.W. Bush hung out at his ranch in Texas and got shitfaced at a party he held this past September and me, Shannon, and Jamie Pressly had a 3-some on her yacht this past May, for 3 days straight.

I did get my son and youngest daughter for my visitation over the summer and during Thanksgiving.  We all went to Kings Dominion to which I had to deal with Satan’s tire the day before, the day of, the day after, and the drive to Florida and back.  I was diagnosed with clinical depression.  My oldest daughter got engaged to be married.  My son applied to MIT and Yale to which he will find out in March if he was accepted, and my step daughter was accepted into the 4th grade honors program.  We went and saw the zoo lights at the zoo in D.C.  I lost my wedding ring and finally the most important thing, me and Shannon had lots of sex, some days were even wild, rough, kinky sex.  The kind of sex you see in a porno.  That’s always worth blogging about I think.

It’s sad that because I had to pay over half of my income to my ex this year we were unable to do anything for ourselves other than sit at home night after night.  Now in two weeks I’ll be jobless.  Welcome 2013.  So that’s my year in review.  Pretty dismal to say the least with only a few highlights of great.  Hopefully everyone else had a much better year.

Happy New Year Everyone

Feel sad to hear about your situation. Hope you can quickly get employed again in 2013! I was jobless from August 2010 till December 2012, so I more or less can empathize the lousy feelings that you have at the moment.

Mine’s been shitty as well, Rob – but it’s about to be over. 😉
Here’s hoping 2013 will be better for you – who knows, maybe there are a couple of nice surprises just around the corner.
Happy New Year, Zombie Lord… glad to have met you.

You are correct it is about to be over. Unfortunately my new year is starting off shitty too. I do hope your right and there are some nice surprise though. Happy New Year to you as well, glad to have met you as well.

Yeah, mine kinda sucked too. I haven’t had a vacation in about 12 years, so I am going to throw in a little travel in 2013. I did get my motorcycle license though, and next up will be buying a bike!!

I haven’t been living my life, only existing. Being on a bike gives me a tremendous sense of freedom, and since I can’t find a man who wants to ride me around on the back of his, I will get my own dammit!
